Where is Night to Shine held?Naples Night to Shine is hosted by New Hope Ministries in Naples, FL in the Event Center at: 7675 Davis Blvd. Naples, FL 34104

What can I expect at Night to Shine?Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, prom favors for each honored guest, a Respite Room for parents and care-takers and, of course, dancing! Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens. It is a night not only for guests to shine, but for churches to shine, for volunteers to shine, and most importantly, for Christ to shine.

Who is invited to Night to Shine?Any person with a physical, cognitive, or developmental disability who is age 14 and up. Naples Night to Shine is open to all eligible guests in the Collier County area.

How much will it cost for a guest to attend Night to Shine?Nothing! Night to Shine is free of charge for all of our guests and their parents/caretakers.

Will guests be left alone at any point?No. Every guest at Night to Shine is paired with a volunteer Buddy for the evening. Buddies are responsible for accompanying their assigned guest throughout the entire evening, providing companionship and any assistance that the guest may need.

What do I need to do to attend?Guest registration will open on November 16th at noon EST; stay tuned for more information!

Is there a cutoff date to sign up?There is no cutoff date for guest registration, however space IS limited and we cannot exceed facility capacity. We anticipate 175 guest registration spaces so register soon!

What information will I need to provide about the guest I am signing up?We ask that you share with us any dietary restrictions or information regarding your child or guest that will help us best pair them with a Buddy for the evening. If your child or guest requires extra attention please let us know! We have many volunteers that have a lot of experience and we do our best to match up Buddies and our honored guests based on individual needs.

Do you provide attire for guests?We aim to provide attire for any guest that would like to choose from our selection. Please check our Events Calendar for upcoming attire selections and fittings!

What if I, or my guest, cannot make one of the attire fitting dates?If you cannot make one of the dates for fittings or require additional assistance with your attire please contact us at info.swflnts@gmail.com.

I am a parent or caretaker for a guest at Night to Shine. What are my options?We are so excited to have your loved one as an honored guest at Night to Shine. As a parent or caretaker, we recommend you take advantage of our Respite Room we have prepared for the evening. All parents and caretakers are eligible to attend this event which takes place alongside Night to Shine where you will be able to relax, be pampered, enjoy a catered dinner and live entertainment, and watch your child or guest attend Night to Shine via our live feed. Space is limited, so please indicate your intention to attend and the number of individuals that will be enjoying the Respite Room when you register your guest.

I am a parent or caretaker for a guest at Night to Shine. Can I attend as their Buddy?We really encourage parents and caretakers to enjoy the Respite Room we’ve prepared. We can ensure that your child/guest is in excellent hands! Not only are they paired with a Buddy, but there are 20 highly trained special needs assistants in the room along with EMS at all times. If, however, you feel your child/guest must be accompanied by their caretaker, then please let us know when registering them as a guest; the guest will still be assigned a Buddy volunteer to accompany them through the evening.

Do I need to complete any other forms prior to attending Night to Shine?All attendees (both guests and those joining in our Respite Room) must complete and return a Media Consent form. Download a copy below and be sure to return it via email prior to Night to Shine or bring it with you on the evening of Night to Shine.

Volunteer Forms
Volunteers who register with Naples Night to Shine at New Hope Ministries will need to attend a training session.

If over 18, all volunteers will need to consent to a background check (via the registration form), as required by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

If under 18, all volunteers will need a parent or guardian to fill out a Minor Permission Form.

Volunteer Roles
We're honored to have your join our team as a volunteer! Read more about our open volunteer roles. When registering to volunteer, you may select up to three areas where you would like to serve. We do our best to assign roles based on first preference, but we ask for your patience and flexibility as we have to first and foremost meet the needs of our guests.

Buddy Team: Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with your guest during dinner and engage with them in conversation. Join your guest on the dance floor and participate in all the fun activities in the gymnasium. Volunteer buddies are required to be at least 16 years old.

Characters Team: Dress as a favorite prince/princess or superhero to entertain our guests and give them the royal treatment! **This team must be filled by professional character actors who supply their own costumes and makeup and have experience in the character industry.**

Food Service Team: Serve food to guests in main event space and Respite Room. Assist guests in finding what they would like (if they have dietary restrictions or allergies).

Guest Services/Registration Team: Warmly greet guests and sign them in and answer any questions they may have.

Hair, Makeup, and Shoe Shine Team: Welcome each guest to a salon station for hair and makeup or to a seat for a shoe shine. Chat with guests while you pamper them and make them feel special.

Parking & Transportation Team: Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit. Maintain open fire and emergency lanes. Assist guests as they exit vehicles, and help them find the registration area. Be available as guests return to their vehicles following the event.

Photography/Videography Team: Take high quality photos and videos; edit and compile photos/videos for press releases and event highlights. **This team must be filled by licensed professionals who have their own equipment. Waivers will be signed to provide photos and videos to be uploaded to the Tim Tebow Foundation by the next day.**

Red Carpet Team: Cheer on guests as they make their way down the red carpet, manage flow of traffic and make them feel welcomed. Treat participants like honored guests and celebrities.

Respite Room Team: Spend the evening with parents and caretakers in the Respite Room. Love on them by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them.

Welcome Team/Wayfinders: Welcome guests as they arrive, and help them find their way to the main event space, activities and restrooms.

Sensory Team: Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated. Interact with them by singing, participating in sensory activities or simply providing them with some quiet time. Help guests find the restroom, and offer assistance in the restroom if needed. If a guest requires assistance with more than getting in and out of a stall or hand washing, it is appropriate to contact their parent or caregiver for assistance.

Setup and Tear Down Team: Help with set-up prior to the event (we will need volunteers on the night before and the day of). At the end of the evening, help to take down decorations, tables, chairs, etc. and clean up the event space.
