Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens. It is a night not only for guests to shine, but for churches to shine, for volunteers to shine, and most importantly, for Christ to shine.

What will I do as a volunteer? We have many roles to fill in order to provide an incredible prom for our guests. Below you will find all of the volunteer roles we aim to fill and a short description of each. When registering, please indicate your top choices. We do our best to accommodate preferences but please keep in mind that we have to fulfill our volunteer needs as well. You may be asked to serve in a different role than you originally indicated, or may even be asked to fill multiple roles. We appreciate your understanding, patience and flexibility as we work to make this night a success! Volunteer Roles: Buddy Team: Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with your guest during dinner and engage with them in conversation. Join your guest on the dance floor and participate in all the fun activities in the gymnasium. Volunteer buddies are required to be at least 16 years old. Characters Team: Dress as a favorite prince/princess or superhero to entertain our guests and give them the royal treatment! **This team must be filled by professional character actors who supply their own costumes and makeup and have experience in the character industry.** Food Service Team: Serve food to guests in main event space and Respite Room. Assist guests in finding what they would like (if they have dietary restrictions or allergies). Guest Registration Team: Warmly greet guests and sign them in and answer any questions they may have. Hair, Makeup, and Shoe Shine Team: Welcome each guest to a salon station for hair and makeup or to a seat for a shoe shine. Chat with guests while you pamper them and make them feel special. Parking & Transportation Team: Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit. Maintain open fire and emergency lanes. Assist guests as they exit vehicles, and help them find the registration area. Be available as guests return to their vehicles following the event. Waivers will be signed to provide photos and videos to be uploaded to the Tim Tebow Foundation by the next day.** Red Carpet Team: Cheer on guests as they make their way down the red carpet, manage flow of traffic and make them feel welcomed. Treat participants like honored guests and celebrities. Respite Room Team: Spend the evening with parents and caretakers in the Respite Room. Love on them by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them. Welcome Team/Wayfinders: Welcome guests as they arrive, and help them find their way to the main event space, activities and restrooms. Sensory Team: Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated. Interact with them by singing, participating in sensory activities or simply providing them with some quiet time. Help guests find the restroom, and offer assistance in the restroom if needed. If a guest requires assistance with more than getting in and out of a stall or hand washing, it is appropriate to contact their parent or caregiver for assistance. Setup and Tear Down Team: Help with set-up prior to the event (we will need volunteers on the night before and the day of). At the end of the evening, help to take down decorations, tables, chairs, etc. and clean up the event space.
